Waterproof and breathable membrane very high quality produced from the Japanese brand TORAY. It offers high water repellency, vapor permeability and breathability thanks to an intelligent non-porous membrane. TORAY guarantees a water resistance of over 20,000 mm and a breathability of over 20,000 g / m2.

SIBERIUM 30.000 2,5L STRETCH
Kilpi's Siberium technology with a 2.5-layer PU / TPU / microporous membrane material, offers exceptional strength and durability along with high breathability and elasticity. This technology offers a water column of 26,000 - 30,000 mm / m2 / 24 hours of waterproofing and 25,000 - 30,000 gr / m2 / 24 hours of breathability. A construction that uses two and a half layers with a waterproof membrane and thus offering excellent resistance and comfort. SIBERIUM 2.5 L materials are designed for a wide range of sporting activities with a focus on weather protection. The SRC SB range of 2 or 4 way stretch fabrics offer excellent characteristics of high stretch, quick drying, strength, UV protection and high breathability. The SRC SB range guarantees protection against the natural elements and absolute freedom of movement. Kilpi technical clothing uses SB (sun block) fabrics for a wide range of products whose use involves long exposure to sunlight.

SIBERIUM DVR WB

Range of fabrics developed to protect all outdoor and sporting activities Windproof, abrasion resistant, lightweight and highly breathable fabrics offer the excellent property of being folded into small pockets (or pouches) so that they take up very little space . Unlike standard WBs, DWRs have a water repellent treatment and are therefore also resistant to water as well as wind. The great elasticity gives full range of motion and comfort. With this fabric Kilpi makes trekking clothing, running clothing, trail clothing, bike clothing and cross country clothing.
DOWN
​
The best insulation material for clothing is natural down. Unlike any synthetic material, feathers are lighter, more compact and have greater heat resistance. What isolates the body is the layer of feathers that prevent very effectively to the air to pass. Our clothing uses down and feathers in a 90/10 ratio, which guarantee maximum thermal insulation, lightness and ease of packing. If the down clothing comes properly cared for, the quality lasts 3 times longer than any other synthetic filling. Kilpi duvets are only of the highest quality because in addition to feathers they use fabrics of the highest technicality and with particular technologies, such as high-frequency seams, which prevent the feathers themselves from coming out through the seams thus avoiding those annoying residues on the sweaters we wear under our our duvets.
RECCO® SYSTEM
​
The RECCO® Rescue system is a two-part technology. Ski resorts and rescue teams have RECCO® detectors. The detector sends out a directional seek signal, which is repeated by the RECCO® reflectors worn by skiers, cyclists and other people who engage in outdoor activities. In the technical clothing lines and in some backpacks, Kilpi offers this technology that does not need any maintenance.

Coolmax®
​
COOLMAX® fabric is the high-performance fabric that includes an effective fiber-based moisture management system. The system can draw sweat away from the body through the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, allowing the wearer to feel fresher and more comfortable even during very intense activities. Coolmax® is also antiseptic and antibacterial and prevents the formation of unpleasant odors.
Lycra®
​
LYCRA® fiber is a synthetic elastane fiber. Never used alone, but always mixed with other fibers, it has unique properties of elasticity and recovery. LYCRA® fiber adds comfort, fit, shape retention, strength and freedom of movement. This is achieved thanks to the unique properties of the fiber, which can be stretched up to seven times its initial length before returning to its original position once the tension is released.
Polar Fleece
​
The fabric is soft, warm, quick drying and durable for a long lasting good look. It adapts perfectly to the body, is elastic in both directions and very breathable. Keeps you dry while you're sweating. The weight always remains unchanged.
Micro Fleece
​
The microfleece has a very high elasticity and therefore offers maximum freedom of movement ensuring thermal comfort thanks to its warmth and its breathability. It is suitable as an intermediate layer for winter activities.
Acrylic
​
Its characteristics are very similar to wool. The mechanical properties are almost identical to wool and it is preferably used for knitwear and knitted items. It is light, dries quickly, does not crease, is stain resistant and unlike wool it is not itchy.
Thermolite®
​
THERMOLITE® fabric and insulation provide weightless warmth and comfort. So long as it's comfortable and light, the THERMOLITE® fabric and insulation offer freedom of movement, making it the perfect layer. Its fibers ad hollow core traps air for added insulation for lightweight yet durable performance.
In a coat made with THERMOLITE® fabric, you'll stay warm and dry. Its wider surface allows rapid evaporation by sending moisture from the skin to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly.
Merino wool
​
Merino wool comes from a special breed of sheep that live in cold regions. Clothes made with this material are very fine to the touch and do not scratch. The structure of the fiber and the technology of the knit are able to warm the wearer even if used in very small quantities as it creates more "air pockets". The pockets keep warm air on the body and form highly effective insulation. Merino neutralizes sweat, naturally eliminates body odors, is resistant to dirt and has self-cleaning properties. The fibers are able to absorb a large amount of moisture keeping the surface dry and warm. Its indisputable advantages are the high degree of insulation, perfect breathability, the ability to absorb moisture from the skin and UV protection. Thanks to its natural and degradable components, clothing made of merino wool is a material suitable for allergy and asthma sufferers.
Tencel®
​
TENCEL® helps you improve your performance thanks to the perfect regulation of body temperature when you play sports. The basic principle is that the human body records a performance of only 60 Watts when sleeping while a sportsman records more than 1,000 Watts. Excess body heat must be eliminated from the body to avoid overheating. This is done by releasing more moisture through the skin. About one million sweat glands per square meter leather made. In addition, the body loses up to 1.8 liters of water per hour during sports. Therefore, it makes sense that active wear must absorb a lot of moisture if it is to enable peak performance.
Modal®
​
Thanks to the use of Edelweiss technology, Lenzing Modal® is CO2 neutral. Edelweiss is synonymous with a "symbiotic" production process: the pulp, the raw material, is produced on the same site as the same modal fiber. Moisture wicking fabrics can absorb sweat and moisture from the skin and carry them into the air to make people feel fresh all the time as does Coolmax®. These materials are also called breathable fabrics and quick-drying fabrics.
OPTI-STRETCH

Stop Bacteria
​
Polypropylene with silver ions offers great durability and wear resistance, as well as perfect thermal insulation (resistance to high temperatures). Gets better the performance of your body and keeps you dry longer.
SILVER ions also offer an antibacterial function.
POLYCOLON®

100% polypropylene. Highest quality polypropylene yarn from Schoeller Austria. Polycolon® improves your body's performance and keeps you dry longer, regardless of your sweating level, by absorbing moisture from your foot. It is very light and strong. It is a hydrophobic material and dries very quickly.
BAMBOO
​
Bamboo fiber is naturally antibacterial, antifungal and antistatic. The fabric has a refreshing feel, but it can also get warm. During the summer you will feel refreshed and in the winter it will help you to warm you up. Bamboo fiber absorbs up to 4 times more moisture than cotton fiber and carries excess moisture and sweat away from the body. Thanks to the structure of the fiber material it is highly breathable and the skin can breathe naturally. Among the indisputable advantages are a high degree of insulation, perfect breathability, the ability to dissipate moisture from the skin and protection from UV rays. Thanks to its natural and degradable components of clothing, it is suitable for allergy and asthma sufferers.
COTTON
​
Cotton has a great tensile and abrasion resistance and these performance increases by 20% when it is humid. Therefore, it is preferably used for products that are designed in that direction and need to be washed frequently. The products have a pleasant touch and can absorb a large amount of moisture, such as sweat.
Polyester
​
The biggest advantage of polyester materials is their high crease resistance. It is a hydrophobic material, that is, it does not absorb moisture (moisture remains dispersed in the space between the fibers) and dries very quickly; it is less susceptible to stains, less delicate to washing and creasing than fibers natural. The advantage of polyester fabrics is their lightness and their high resistance to creasing.
Polyamide or Nylon
​
Nylon fiber is very resistant in general and in particular to abrasions, so it is popular in the production of sportswear. Polyamide is easy to maintain, less susceptible to stains, less delicate to the washes and the formation of creases compared to natural substances.
WIND PROOF
​
No wind is a three-layer laminate produced by the company Italian Pontetorto, which consists of an upper layer of microfleece, a membrane and a perforated lower protective layer. The result is a 100% windproof, highly breathable, soft and comfortable material.
OPTI-HEAT
​
Specially developed material to ensure thermal comfort even at the lowest temperatures. This extraordinary heat retention that the material possesses effectively protects the body from the cold.
